He is the Director of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. He obtained the degree of Medical Doctor from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia in 1999 and Master of Public Health in 2002. He earned PhD from Innsbruck Medical University in 2006. He has been involved in various projects related to public health informatics and health management information system at regional and national level in collaboration with health institutions across Indonesia. He served as the vice-head of Indonesia Association of Health Informatics (PIKIN) between 2012-2015, and involved in the development of the Indonesian Health Informatics Forum, a national forum aim to strengthening the health information system among different stakeholders in Indonesia.
