Double Degree Program
We are proud and happy to announce that Master Program of Health Policy and Management has opened opportunities for students to join the Double Degree program between the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada and Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences University of Melbourne.
We open opportunities for students to take part in this Double Degree program, by offering many benefits including:
- Students will receive a total of 2 certificates, provided by Universitas Gadjah Mada and University of Melbourne.
- The host institution will assist double-degree students with (1). Information and counselling with respect to healthcare and medical insurance, (2). Academic information and counselling (including access to learning resources required by the course programs subject to this agreement), as well as cultural counselling, and (3) Support in carrying out administrative procedures such as registration, acquiring grade reports or certificates, transcripts, visa University requirements.
- Students will pay the required tuition and other fees to their home institution for the duration of their study that can be facilitated by LPDP scholarship for double degree program.
- Provision of additional services for dual degree students, including assistance with obtaining residence permits, assistance with finding accommodation, courses in local languages, and activities to facilitate social integration.

Thesis Requirement
Learning objective:
- Comprehensively master the scientific field under study and the research methodology used.
- Communicate and publish through seminars or in the form of scientific articles in scientific journals as a means to disseminate the research results obtained.
- Integrate and apply concepts and methodologies learnt during lectures.
- Critically review, appraise and synthesise existing literature or evidence in a specific area.
Generic information regarding master thesis:
- The final project can be prepared in the form of a thesis, prototype, capstone project, or other similar final project;
- The final project is disseminated to the academic community and/or directly to the wider community in the form of scientific publications, exhibitions, and/or presentations at national or international meetings;
- Scientific publications as referred to in number 2 that have been accepted at least in accredited national journals; and
- In the event that students do not prepare scientific publications as referred to in number 3, the dissemination / publication component of the final project is assessed using criteria and methods determined by the Study Programme and it is possible to get an A grade if it meets the predetermined criteria.
