Annisa is a dietitian working in the field of health information technology with a research interest in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Chatbot, Social Media Analytics, and Nutrition Informatics. She joined the Department of Health Policy and Management in 2019 and currently taking her doctoral degree in Biomedical Informatics at Taipei Medical University. Her thesis explores the extensive adoption of affective computing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) especially using emotion recognition. She aims to develop machine learning-based emotion recognition of non-verbal communication to support doctor-patient interaction. Apart from her study, she currently serves as the special assistant to the Editor in Chief for BMJ Health & Care Informatics (BMJ HCI).
