Course content

The course begins with the fundamental of nursing practice, followed by care delivery system. Nursing Management is a dynamic and proactive approach in carrying out an organized activity. This management includes Planning, Organizing, Actualing, Controlling (POAC) activities for staff, facilities and infrastructure in achieving organizational goals. Nursing management is a process of working through nursing staff members to provide professional nursing care. The management process is in line with the nursing process as a method of implementing professional nursing care, so it is hoped that both can support each other. The nursing process as well as nursing management consists of data collection, problem identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of results.

After completing the course the student should be able to:
